Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name has been recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories within legal contexts. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many honors the national level and international. She has provided advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments across the world. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of numerous professional associations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
